Carolina Daffodil Society is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit formed in January 2025. Our mission is to encourage interest in daffodils and to educate members and the public about their cultivation.
We are an affiliate of the American Daffodil Society. CDS is based in Charlotte, NC. As the only daffodil club in North Carolina and South Carolina, we invite participation from across both states and beyond.

Our activities include four meetings per year, an annual daffodil show in March, member bulb exchanges, and community daffodil plantings. Our meetings and shows are open to the public.

Daffodils welcome spring as one of the first plants to bloom. They are tough, resistant to pests and diseases, and adaptable to many soil and growing conditions. There are thousands of varieties in a range of colors, that together create a potential bloom season from fall to late spring. In many ways, daffodils come close to being the perfect plant.
